The NYGC Early Career Development (Post-Baccalaureate) program offers recent graduates outstanding scientific training and research experience across faculty and non-faculty laboratories, leveraging the NYGC's distinct expertise in genomics, computational biology, technology innovation, and clinical genetic testing. Beyond their scientific work, participants will gain access to diverse mentorship, programming, and enrichment opportunities, introducing them to various career paths in the public or private sector, as well as opportunities for graduate studies. Program participants will be offered a two-year full-time position at the NYGC, starting in summer 2025.
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
B.S./B.A. degree holders or current/rising seniors in a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) field from an accredited college or university (Degree must be awarded prior to the program start date in summer 2025)
Less than three years since graduation at the time of application submission. Individuals who wish to apply but cannot satisfy this requirement may provide a statement explaining their circumstances
