CUNY Spring Forward 2025 Program

With a CUNY Spring Forward internship you are paid to pursue your future career and learn on the job! Internships are designed for CUNY undergrads who have had no prior paid internship experience.

Spring Forward is open to ALL current CUNY undergraduate students
Spring Forward does not have an age cap! We accept students aged 18+
Priority is given to applicants with Freshman & Sophomore status
Priority is given to Community College applicants

Do you meet ALL of our eligibility requirements?

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria in order to qualify for the program:

Have you had NO prior paid internship experience during your CUNY career? (including previously participating in Career Launch 2022, 2023, or 2024 nor Spring Forward 2023 or 2024)
Will you be a CUNY undergraduate student this Fall 2024 AND Spring 2025 semesters?
Are you at least 18 years old as of September 9th, 2024?
Do you have a grade point average of at least 2.0?
Are you eligible to work in the United States?

Do you want a career in one of these fields:
• Marketing, communications, or public relations
• Community services, non-profits, or social services
• Science, technology, engineering or environmental preservation
• Healthcare services

If you answered “yes” to all of the questions above, you can apply to the CUNY Spring Forward Program! Our applications are open and available here. Apply by September 30th!
