Calling all NYC-based high school students (and their teachers)!
Council members have the chance to develop their own climate project over the course of 6 months from January to June, 2025 with the help of Solar One staff and resources. This is a great opportunity to build life-long friendships with like-minded peers, while refining collaboration, leadership, and project management skills.
Who: NYC-based high school students interested in climate advocacy
When: Apply by October 25th 2024, program runs from January 6th to June 9th 2025
Where: Primarily virtual, with monthly in-person meetings at Solar One HQ in Long Island City, Queens
Compensation: $1,000 stipend
Applications are now open for Solar One’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC), a paid, hybridclimate-based project development program designed to support students in making meaningful change in the climate space.
