Internship |
This first-of-its-kind program brings together diverse undergraduate students interested in quantum cybersecurity. It provides foundational quantum cybersecurity skills through intensive training and practical experience while building essential internship skills such as professionalism, communication, and research. Students will then be matched with host organizations to contribute to real-world quantum cybersecurity projects.
DATES
Training will be 8 hours/day (inclusive of lecture, lab, small group sessions, and other programming)
The internship is 40 hours/week.
PREREQUISITES
Completion of an introductory science course or basic Python programming fluency (variables, functions, loops).
ELIGIBILITY
You are eligible to apply if you:
- Are currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year undergraduate institution.
- Are authorized to work in the U.S.
- Reside in New York state
- AND - Have completed an introductory computer science course or have basic fluency in Python programming (variables, functions, loops).
Students from underrepresented backgrounds in STEM (e.g., Black, Latinx/a/o, Native American, first-generation, or a woman or other marginalized gender) are encouraged to apply.
